However, quite a few of the ones you have marked as &quot;Greek&quot; are actually Aramaic as well! Bartholemew is Bar Tulmai, and bar is of course Aramaic for son (son of Tulmai). Thomas is from the Hebrew/Aramaic for &quot;twin&quot;. Matthew isn&#039;t Greek either. It is from the Hebrew/Aramaic meaning &quot;gift&quot; (from natan to give). The list goes on!
