I like the story of Francis Schaeffer dining with a Hindu as they were also debating their respective positions on evil. The good Hindu was elaborating how it was all illusory--indeed, how EVERYTHING is mere illusion. About that time, Schaffer, who had been boiling a pot of hot tea, stood over his Hindu friend and was just about to pour the boiling tea over him. The friend jumped up and cried, "What are you doing?!"

Schaffer replied, "Why such a response? After all, it's only an illusion....right?"

It's very essential for all to know why evil exist.its all because of satan called devil in some languages. The bible says he came to STEAL,KILL and DESTRROY.This is his mission on earth.Almighty God has giving him this mandate for His purpose to be fulfilled.God can easily get satan out of the way if not for the purpose of using the evil deeds of devil to glorify Himself through His miracles.I beleive that without evil the presence of God will not be felt so mmuch here on earth.Let us know that whever there is evil the presence of the lord is around at that same time to show himself mightily. The three hebrew boys in the fire is an example.Peter in jail is another example, were the disciples prayed and he was miraculously released. So evil really reveeals the power of God at the other end.

I think that God respects the free will he gave everyone. The free will to choose to believe and follow him or to not follow him. I do not think that he forces his presence on any of his children, which give people the choice to be good or evil. There are so many demons in this world that if you do not follow God and actively search for his help to fight these demons; evil can easily overtake people.

I dont think God prevents evil because he does not force people to be good and follow him. He calls on Christians, those that already actively believe in him, to build his kingdom by spreading their faith to others so Christians can take people out of evil and bring them to good.

There are demons in this world that people choose to follow and thats why as Christians we need to reach out to these people to show them the truth about God and the ultimate love he can instill in your life.

I believe God also uses the evil in this world to do good as was said above. I do not think he would ever inflict evil on any of his children, but I think those that choose do not follow God are more susceptible and are at the mercy of evil and the demons that exist all around us.
